Drug addicts and alcoholics who claim thousands of pounds a year in sickness benefits could be stripped of their handouts if they do not seek treatment.
Mmmm..I wonder what would happen if this occurred. Perhaps less people will be willing to admit they are addicts?
It is becoming clearer and clearer that government now targets those people it can target to save money : ie those people it is predominantly aimed at supporting : the vulnerable!
There is nothing to suggest they are going to target tougher targets : like tax evaders or the super wealthy or bank bonuses or chief exec salaries. Far too tough....
