How wrong thinking has entered the Church

Now we see how worldly thinking is now really infecting the church. The issue about wanting gay bishops in the church, so long as they are celibate, has brought questions about the extent of the celibacy and how it is to be policed.

Has the church ever saught to police sin amongst bishops?

This shows how the intrusive Big Brother thinking has entered the church!

Are such proponents going to now ask to check internet diaries to check our Bishops viewing, or checking to see they aren't having affairs?

No, the Bible teaches us how to deal with sin within the church.

Matthew 18 v 15 - 17 : "
¹⁵ Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

¹⁶ But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

¹⁷ And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. "

2 Thessalonians 3 v14-15 "
¹⁴ And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

1 Corinthians 5:12-13 "

Galatians 6 : 1

I am pretty sure Hitler was true to himself. I am pretty sure all sinners can be true to ourselves. Being true to yourself is a great lie from satan.  Only Jesus Christ can save us from ourselves. Nothing we can do can save ourselves. Absolutely nothing.  I can never be true to myself.  Ever. Only Jesus Christ can do that so that we can show His glory.
