6. The use of doublespeak to present leaving the EU but actually wanting to stay
7. Strengthening of Corporation Tax anti avoidance
8. Increasingly more people being classed as bigots or not getting with the programme or
zombies
9. More disabled people committing suicide or dying as a result of the DWP declaring them fit
for work.
10. The ubiquitous use of the words fairness, global, taxpayer, transparency, proportionate
11. The development of smartphones, tablets, laptops, game consoles, social media, 4G,
internet TV
12. The new Archbishop of Canterbury
13. Will Women Bishops be voted for?
14. UKIP increasingly influencing the political debate and the continuing reduction in power of
the traditional ruling elite, with the result that the traditional ruling elite finding newer ways to
hold onto power 'for the good of the nation'
15. Corporations increasingly influencing the world wide and local political debate
16. Increasing discussion of separating the Church from the State
17. More scandals in the police,media, banks, politicians, police commissioners
18. Results of the review of the Liverpool Care Pathway

Some things to hope for
1. BBC beginning to show more impartiality, objectivity, truth seeking and studious and
tenacious journalism
2. New political thought based on truth and principles and virtuous arguments and language
3. New ways of assessing the economic health of the nation in the light of more people working
part time, people working for less than they used to, people holding down numerous part time
jobs, and the population growing.
4. Increasing exposure of sweat factories
5. Consideration of lowering the maximum number of weeks for when an arbortion is allowed
6. New debate about the impact of Islam and atheism in our society
7. More people becoming savy at testing the veracity of what they see and hear in the
mainstream
8. The expanding numbers of Christians reaching out to those increasingly being marginalised
and suffering the consequences of the recession and this government's actions and words.
