How fiction DOES impact on reality and can damage it

Woman petitions divorcing her husband after wanting to implement sexual games written about in Fifty Shades of Grey.

"Ms McAlister, who is in charge of the family department at Russell Jones & Walker, said that it was one of a growing number of divorce cases brought by wives spurred on by the Fifty Shades literary phenomenon – dubbed 'mummy porn' – which encourages women to be more adventurous in the bedroom.
'There has been a real shift in sexual attitudes,' Ms McAlister, said. 'It used to be the men who complained they weren't getting enough nookie in the bedroom.
'But now it's the women who are calling their husbands boring after reading books like Fifty Shades.'

Ms McAlister also revealed that the emergence of adultery websites has fuelled divorce cases.
'Women are finding these sites very liberating because they advertise no strings attached sex with men who match their own interests and desires,' she added.
'But it doesn't take long for husbands to discover the wife has been visiting these websites and then filing for divorce.' "

Since when has adultery been liberating? Do you hear children chanting from rooftops saying how grateful they are that the adulterer, ie their mother or father, is now liberated?

I can just hear it now "I know I'm damaged by my parents divorcing, but I'm so thankful my mother is now liberated"
