Yesterday, on ITV, David Cameron, live on air, was handed a list of names that Phillip Schofield had found by spending three minutes on the internet, names of politicians who seemed to be related to these latest peadophile allegations. What a shame. I really felt for Cameron. And unfortunately Cameron, for which I think he can be totally forgiven, said this could become a witch hunt against gay people. He let us know that at least one person on the list was gay, perhaps some or all.
I also think we should not have one massive enquiry into these allegations; each organisation needs to carry out its own review. However I do think we may require an overarching review later if it becomes clear that there are themes and links across the enquiries.
I pray to Christ our Lord to reign this in and direct it properly, if that is His will.

It seems odd that no-one has picked up the fact that Cameron said the people on the list were gay. He didn't just say this could be a witch hunt : he said it could be a witch hunt for gay people.
