Omnishambles : the description of 2012

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2232657/How-define-mood-2012-Try-Omnishambles--phrase-used-string-blunders-mismanagement.html

" 'Omnishambles' has been crowned the Oxford University Press' top term for this year. Its definition is  'a situation that has been comprehensively mismanaged, characterised by a string of blunders and miscalculations'.
And what with institutions like the BBC in meltdown, the EU struggling to deliver a budget, and PR gaffes from the Government including Andrew Mitchell's row with policemen, many might not argue with the choice of phrase."
